"Hey grandpa can you tell Gwen to stop bugging me to take her to the mall. We we're just there two days ago and besides I've got more important things to do then drag her around."

"Why do you have to be this way, Ben. I just want to go get something I forgot to buy when we were there."

"Well,then why didn't you say so, Gwen. Sure I'll take you to the mall and while we're there I'll just leave you. At least that way I can finally have a more enjoyable summer, before I have to go back to University."

"Now Ben, you should charish the moments you have with your cousin. You only see her during the summer now,ever since you started University three years ago."

It's almost four and I guess your right, grandpa. I do miss Gwen when I'm away at Boston U."

"See I told you he missed you, Gwen. Now you own me twenty bucks."

"Wh..Wh..What!! You guys were betting on whether I missed her or not," I say as I point at my cousin. They just look at me and laugh. Then my cousin gives me a big hug and kisses me on the cheek. I stare at my grandpa,Max Tennyson, as she continues to hug me. I give him a 'what the fuck' look and just looks at me and shruggs. Finally my cousin lets go and I say,"What was that for," but not as a question because I knew why she had done it. Gwen replies,"I did it because i felt like it. Why is theresomething wrong with doing that?"

"No. It's just that in all the time we've spent together, just about every summer since I ended fourth grade, you've never really shown any real affection towards me. That first summer together, you just spent most of the time making fun of me. Then when I got my abilities you stopped making fun of me. Well actually, you stopped talking to me period. That is until the beginning of this summer vaction."
